This Mid-autumn Festival, let’s make your day special by making your own mooncakes and decorating your own lanterns!
The Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated on the 15th of Lunar August when the moon is believed to be the biggest, brightest, and fullest. This festival is an opportunity for family members to visit and share everything with each other in the year. To celebrate this special occasion, Christina’s and Onetrip will be hosting a Traditional Mooncake Workshop with The Open Space – a professional baking studio in Ho Chi Minh City.
You will learn how to make delicious mooncakes which are only made in celebration of this festival. This workshop will focus on two fillings: milk and coconut and a traditional vegetarian mixture. Also, you will get creative by decorating unique lanterns symbolic of this holiday. Think about enjoying your mooncakes and a cup of hot tea in one of the most beautiful communal kitchens in the city with your loved ones. After 3 hours learning, you will have two beautiful mooncakes and a decorated lantern to bring home.
